A Day in New York

50 Street Subway Entrance with edges blurred and in Serpia color. This is the entrance we used to go down to Brooklyn to photograph the Brooklyn Bridge

Awesome street in Chelsea. I am so intrigued by this shot as if you do not look at the details i would swear it was taken in the 1950's.

Subway car in Manhattan New York Fish eyed. Just another way to alter a subway shot. I think the name says it all as this is what the Wino would see when the subway is coming.

This shot was taken by my son Jonathan. The High Line is a public park built on an historic freight rail line elevated above the streets on Manhattan’s West Side. It is owned by the City of New York, and maintained and operated by Friends of the High Line. Founded in 1999 by community residents, Friends of the High Line fought for the High Line’s preservation and transformation at a time when the historic structure was under the threat of demolition.

Chelsea is known for its mixture of Modern and historic mix of buildings. It is amazing to see a small part of New York history told though buildings.

"A Business Man just Keeping Up" I feel this shot portrays a businessman keeping up and making it happen in the business world of New York

Subway Entrance in Hell's Kitchen.

A shot of the Brooklyn Bridge from the Ice Cream stand.

A historical building with the ad or name at the final stages of fading. You wonder how many years it will be before it is gone.

When I look at this picture the mood and feelings come back to me of when I rode the subway for the first time.

Graffiti on the buildings next the High Line park in Chelsea.

I took dozens of shots out of the plane window to see what I could capture. In using my enhancement tools I pulled this colorful shot out of a completely unrecognizable image.

At Night.

In Black and White

Street signs in New York actually represent the chaos of the city.

Famous Pub

Most of the time Graffitti is offensive on the buildings next to the high line it actually is part of the historical story.

Very common site in New York.

My son took me into an amazing "Wood Fired" Pizza parlor. There is only a few left in New York as they no longer allow "wood fired" in the city. Just a few were grandfathered in. The leg and picture were next to me while I was eating an amazing Artichoke pizza with white sauce. I would go back to New York just to eat here again. I antiqued the picture to cover up a few cracks in the picture frame.

Every street and Blvd. in New York has a story. Wouldn't it be great to create a history book on every street and Blvd. in New York?

I framed the Manhattan Bridge with the Brooklyn Bridge to make the composition more appealing.

In Color

Plants, Concrete and clouds are all in this shot. The tip of the empire State building by itself is so powerful.

TBD

One of the best pubs in New York City.

Bottle line up in the Wood Fired Artichoke Pizza Parlor In New York. Bottles were so beautiful I had to get a shot of them.

I don't know if there are more Thai restaurant signs or Pizza parlor signs in New York.
